Hello PSPP Partners,
Since the launch of the Police Station Prayer Partners recently
it was actually a bit quiet but we are of good courage since this is God's
work. We are simply branches, yielding to Him, trusting that He will produce
fruit through us as vessels.
God is serious about our country, He is also serious about the South African
Police Services and it's personnel, also the personnel of the
whole Justice cycle, i.e, SAPS/Metro Police, National Prosecuting Authorities/Judiciary
as well as Correctional Services. We believe that He wants to work in and through
us IN this crime and corruption situation to be salt and light, also to be
channels of His love, mercy and hope to those around us.
We are currently in a process to make Police Stations aware of the existence
of PSPP. We are also aware that different kinds of initiatives were already
started in certain Police Stations. We would like to get in contact with
the Commanders of those Stations, and if possible set up a meeting, especially
for the Gauteng people. The reasoning behind this is simply to share
what's on our heart, to hear what they have done so far and finally to agree
on a unified way forward, doubtlessly for the glory of God's Name. We
know that UNITY is of utmost importance and strive towards that.
There will be specific focus areas - and we urge you to visit our
website regularly to see what they are.
What makes us exited is in particular the focus from 00:01 on Saturdays until
Saturday nights 24:00 on crime. Can you imagine if the prayer warriors start
to bombard the gates of hell in one accord what God's going to do?
The politicians and heathens will have no choice but would to glorify
His Name.
We have tried to sent an e-mail to all Police Stations in the country
through National Police Head Quarters, but it seems there is a problem
with that since this is a Christian based initiative. We have to pray
that doors open for us to communicate this message to the whole country
and if National HQ refuse to help that other ways be found to share this vision
with all Police Stations.
We envisage to network with Christians of the whole Justice cycle and who
knows, in a while we have a Justice Cycle Prayer Partnership. Why? In
order for God to heal the whole chain which is currently so rusty, corroded
so that true Justice can be a reality to the people of this country.
God bless you richly
Eben McLaren
